10th December

We meet at the airport at 10:15HRS for our Ryan Air flight departing at 12:20HRS and arriving in Lisbon Airport at 14:50HRS. We then make our way to our four star hotel in Lisbon. After checking in together with our tour leader we will go for a familiarization walk and then free time for some shopping at Vasco Da Gama shopping center.

11th December

Today, after breakfast we go for a full day excursion to Fatima, one of the largest religious pilgrimage sites in the world. With the gorgeous white structure, unblemished and pure, Fatima is known as the place where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds. Since the apparitions the region of Fatima became a destination of pilgrims. On our way we stop at the Centro Commercial de Fatima, a shop where you find all kinds of items and symbols of the Christian faith. We will make a stop at Aljustrel and visit the village of the three shepherd children. We return to our hotel.

12th December

After breakfast we proceed for another full day excursion taking us first to one of the most picturesque and charming city of Obidos. Obidos is a charming medieval village made up of a labyrinth of cobble stoned streets with white washed houses that liven up with dashes of vivid yellow and blue paint. Walking inside the village also allows to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, to taste the local drink Ginjinha and other local goods and crafts. Next, it’s onto the fishing village of Nazare, where old women still wear traditional skirts. The small fishing town has a grand breach, where one can enjoy classic Portuguese dishes, absorb panoramic views of Portugal’s rugged Atlantic coastline and capture numerous photographs. Afterwards, we make our way back to the hotel.

13th December

This morning, after our breakfast we start another full day excursion taking us round Lisbon with our local guide. We start a panoramic tour stopping in Belem district, home to the 16th century UNESCO World Heritage listed sites, the stunning Belem Tower and St. Anthony’s Church. We shall also see the Monument to the Discoveries, the fifty meters tall monument, shaped like a ship’s prow built in honour of Henry the Navigator. Afterwards we proceed to the Christmas Market of Lisbon to enjoy the wonderland moments. We return to our hotel.

14th December

After our last breakfast we check-out from our rooms. Afterwards, we end our trip by visiting the amazing view where the famous monument of Christ the King is. We then proceed to Lisbon Airport for our Ryanair flight departing at 15:35HRS and arriving in Malta at 19:40HRS.
