Welcome to VIVA Cruises RUBY All Inclusive. “All Inclusive” means that you can sit back, relax and enjoy. Your physical well-being is taken care of with selected food and high-quality drinks. The attentive crew will spoil you with culinary delicacies, exquisite drinks. The cruise also offers relaxing care products from RITUALS. And if you do need a good connection, you can use our WiFi. The included tips ensure good connections elsewhere – especially to our on-board staff.
All cabins are equipped with Nespresso machine, flat screen TV and telephone, AC, hair dryer, private safe; free WiFi access, SPA bathrobes and slippers, high quality mattresses oozing comfort and style.
Evenings spent relaxing in the lounge area after a sumptuous meal, a great time to catch up with the group and reminisce on the days spent.
Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Arrival in Brussels
We gather at the airport in the early afternoon to begin our journey with a scheduled flight to Brussels, departing at 16:30hrs. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take us to our hotel conveniently located near the airport. After check-in and time to settle in, we reconvene for a welcoming group dinner at the hotel. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax and unwind or enjoy light social time together.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Dusseldorf
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and transfer by private coach to the port in Düsseldorf, where we embark the VIVA RUBY river cruise. Upon arrival, check-in formalities are completed and cabins are assigned. The remainder of the day is at leisure—relax onboard or take a stroll through the vibrant city. In the afternoon, the cruise sets sail, marking the beginning of your scenic river journey. Lunch and dinner are served onboard.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Venlo
Arrive in Venlo in the morning while enjoying breakfast onboard, as the ship gently docks along the Maas River. Step ashore and take advantage of a few hours to explore this charming Dutch town at a relaxed pace. Wander through the historic old town, discover boutique shops, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of its cafés and squares. Whether you choose a peaceful riverside stroll or a cultural stop, Venlo offers a delightful and unhurried experience.
Return to the ship by early afternoon for departure at 14:00. Lunch and dinner are served onboard as you continue cruising.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Roermond
Arrive in Roermond in the morning while enjoying breakfast onboard. During the Christmas winter period, the town transforms into a festive setting filled with twinkling lights and seasonal charm. Explore its compact historic centre, visit landmarks such as St. Christopher’s Cathedral, browse local shops, or simply soak in the warm and magical atmosphere.
Return to the ship in the early afternoon for departure at 14:00. Lunch is served onboard as the cruise continues. Later in the evening, arrive in Maastricht while dinner is being served onboard.
Itinerary Overview: Day 5 – Maastricht — A Magical Day & Evening Experience
Awaken to the long-awaited arrival in Maastricht, one of the most enchanting destinations of your journey. As morning light reveals its historic charm, enjoy a leisurely breakfast onboard before stepping ashore to explore at your own pace. Stroll through cobbled streets, elegant squares, and festive surroundings that create a truly magical atmosphere.
Return to the ship for lunch as anticipation builds for the evening’s highlight. At approximately 17:00, depart for the MECC to experience a spectacular concert by André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra—an unforgettable performance filled with music, elegance, and emotion.
Itinerary Overview: Day 6 – Maastricht
Wake up to the timeless beauty of Maastricht as the ship remains peacefully docked. Enjoy breakfast onboard before spending a full day at leisure exploring the city in greater depth. Discover hidden corners, boutique shops, inviting cafés, and scenic river views, or simply relax and enjoy the refined atmosphere. Return to the ship at your convenience, where lunch and dinner are served onboard, offering the perfect balance of exploration and comfort.
Itinerary Overview: Day 7 – Nijmegen
After departing Maastricht during the night, enjoy a peaceful morning of scenic cruising. Take in the ever-changing landscapes while enjoying breakfast and lunch onboard. By the afternoon, arrive in Nijmegen, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. Step ashore to explore its lively yet historic centre, wander through charming streets, or relax in one of its inviting squares.
Return to the ship in the evening, where dinner is served onboard.
Itinerary Overview: Day 8 – Brussels & Departure
After breakfast, we will disembark the cruise in Düsseldorf, where a private coach will be waiting to transfer us to Brussels. Upon arrival, we will have time to explore the city’s enchanting Christmas market at Place Sainte-Catherine, known as Winter Wonders—the largest and most festive market in Brussels, offering a magical atmosphere filled with seasonal treats, crafts, and entertainment.
In the late afternoon, our coach will take us to Brussels Airport, where we will check in for our return flight to Malta, scheduled to depart at 20:25hrs.
