Day 1 (27th Sep 24): Departure from Malta
We meet our tour Leader at the Malta International Airport to check-in at 13:30 for our Emirates to our final destination Hanoi. The flight departs at 15:35.
Day 2 (28th Sep 24): Arrival at Hanoi (Guide)
We make a landing at Dubai on the 28th at 01:05Hr. The connection flight Dubai to Hanoi departs at 03:30Hrs and arrives at 13:15. Upon arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, we will be met by our local guide and will be driven to our hotel for check-in and familiarization with the surroundings.
Day 3 (29th Sep 24): Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

After breakfast we will be picked up to start a Hanoi city tour. We will visit Ba Dinh Square, where silent sentries guard the marble and Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum the place Ho Chi Minh lies in state (closed on every Monday and Friday and October & November) and see the simple cottage where Uncle Ho lived and worked. We will continue to visit the One Pillar Pagoda and hear the legend of its construction, born from the love of an emperor in the 11th Century. Later we will drive to visit the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi, on the banks of Hanoi’s West Lake. We will also call at the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 and the dedicated to Confucius, it is a serene retreat from the busy streets outside and later became Vietnam’s first university.

After lunch at local restaurant, driver and guide will take us to visit the Ethnology Museum for an overview of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic and enjoy an orientation of the tree-lined streets of Hanoi, resplendent with French colonial architecture, including the recently restored Opera House. Pass by Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as Lake of Restored Sword from the legend that surrounds it en-route to one of the city’s fascinating museums.

In the afternoon, we will take to the streets by walking tour of the Ancient Quarter of 36 streets District. This densely populated corner of the city was once a centre of commerce where goods were sold under the street name of a particular guild. Still a thriving community of sellers today, we will see streets name such as Sugar Street, Tin Street and Paper Street. Ancient homes and temples are interspersed with stores in this souvenir hunter’s paradise. Later on, you’ll watch the Water Puppet show an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture.
Night in Hanoi.
Day 4 (30th Sep 24): Hanoi/Ha Long (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Guide)

Departure after breakfast for Ha Long Bay, which is often called Vietnam’s eighth wonder of the world and once visited, it is hard to dispute that claim. 4000 spectacular limestone outcroppings, cliffs arches and coves compete for space in an area that is without doubt the most outstandingly naturally beautiful in the country – incomparable coastal scenery. On arrival, we will board our boat, a wooden junk that will take us first to the busy World Heritage area Ha Long Bay, which is translated as “Descending Dragon”. We will stop off at an islet and climb though a series of breath taking caves and grottoes, marvelling at at some of the most impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations anywhere in the world and then making a stop secluded beach where we can enjoy cruising among the cave dotted island and seeing the small fishing boats which are always feature of this lovely bay. Weather permitting, we will be able to swim, fish, climb a hill for an overview of the Bay’s remarkable seascape. All our meals will be provided on board, usually based on fresh seafood. Night on the boat.

Day 5 (1st Oct 24): Ha Long/Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

We will have western breakfast on boat and then spend the morning cruising Ha Long Bay, followed by lunch just before docking to the harbour at around 11.30. On the way back from Ha Long, we will enter one of the villages nearby to enjoy the life of the Northern farmer. If the time permits, you can visit a school for children. Return to Hanoi for our overnight stay.
Day 6 (2nd Oct 24): Hanoi/Ninh Binh (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

After breakfast we will drive to Ninh Binh (110 km). On arrival in Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, we will visit Dinh and Le temples, which dedicated to Emperor Dinh and a memory of Emperor Le. We will have a brief visit to the remains of the Old Palace. After we will drive to Tam Coc (three grottoes) and have lunch at the local restaurant. We will be rowed along a gentle river between paddy fields and through the Tam Coc, We will enjoy a peaceful valley among limestone ‘karst’ hills on the way. Drive back to Hanoi. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi
Day 7 (3rd Oct 24): Hanoi/Danang/Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)


Breakfast at our hotel, and then be picked up to depart to the airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival, met and transferred to Hoi An.
En-route, we will have a brief visit to Cham museum, remarkable Hindu statuary. The Cham left a legacy of excellent sculptures as they were pushed south by the advancing Vietnamese invaders. Driver and guide will take us to visit My Khe Beach, immortalized for many by the US television show and still one of the most spectacular beach in Asia. We will then visit the Marble Mountain, Stone Carving village where we can admire the stone products of local people. We will travel to Hoi An to have a visit the town, and enjoy its considerable significance in the history of Vietnam town. We will enter a narrow street to look at unique Japanese covered bridge, Chinese communal house, shop for art at one of the numerous galleries and enjoy riverside ambience. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.
Day 8 (4th Oct 24): Hoi An/My Son/Coconut Village/Lantern Floating (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)


Breakfast at our hotel, our driver and guide will pick you to visit the World Heritage My Son Sanctuary, the guide will show us the remains of the remarkable brick towers, and explain their origins and purpose. Return to Hoi An.
In the afternoon, we will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. During the trip, the boatman will make extremely lovely natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses by coconut leaves for you. We will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum.
In the evening, tour guide will take us to Hoai river to have a boat ride and release Lantern at Hoai river. This will make our trip become a memorable one.
Night in Hoi An.
Once, the My Son Sanctuary was the spiritual capital of the Cham Kingdom that dominated SE Asia for nearly a thousand years. Its remarkable brick towers were badly bombed, but are still impressive, as is its remote valley setting. It’s set in a quiet, richly forested area, bisected by a clear stream. However, the tree cover is not complete, and the valley acts as a suntrap, so good sun protection is important.
Day 9 (5th Oct 24): Hoi An/Danang/Bana Hills (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)


After breakfast, Car and tour guide will pick us from our hotel and depart for Sun World Ba Na hills.
Arrive at Ba Na, you will rest and take photos when our guide gets the cable car ticket
- We will spend 20 minutes on cable car line
- After finishing the cable car line, we will follow the guide to visit Golden Bridge – the famous attraction in Vietnam, Le Jardin Garden, old wine cellar
- We will use the next cable car line to come to French villages. Here, one can take photos with the Gothic-style castles at Du Dome Square and join in the lively street festivals 12:00 Have buffet lunch
- Play more than 100 free games at Fantasy Park and superfast slide.
Night in Danang.
Day 10 (6th Oct 24): Danang/Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

After breakfast, we will drive to visit Linh Ung pagoda of Son Tra peninsula. Linh Ung Pagoda of Son Tra peninsula is the larges pagoda in Central Vietnam. Arrive there, we can feel the cool sea wind, sea Da Dang panoramic, the Arhat statues and Lady Buddha statues which are the tallest in Viet Nam.
You’ll also have time to visit Han Market before transferring to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
On arrival, meet and transferred to our hotel for our overnight stay.
Day 11 (7th Oct 24): Ho Chi Minh City tour/Cu Chi Tunnel (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)


In the morning, we will visit the Cu Chi tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong to suddenly materialise as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, and vanish equally rapidly.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of War Remnants which provides a very partial, but riveting, perspective of the ‘American War’, the Centre Post Office with colonial building and the Cathedral Church. We will then be driven to visit the Jade Emperor Temple. It is one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries. We will visit Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, packed with every conceivable commodity and a visit to lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product. Spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12: (8th Oct 24) Ho Chi Minh City/My Tho (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

After breakfast, we will be taken to My Tho, a city nearby Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, we will board a boat to cruise on the Mekong River and row through small canals and channels to Thoi Son Island where we will disembark and walk along a small village road to visit fruit gardens, the elementary school, the local distillery, and witness the daily life of Mekong villagers. We will have chance to sample some of area’s tropical fruits and watch a traditional music show. After lunch at a local restaurant on the island, we will climb back on the boat to visit a coconut candy workshop.
In the afternoon, we will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for our overnight stay.
Day 13 (9th Oct 24): Ho Chi Minh City departure (Breakfast, Guide)
We will be free until we will be transferred to the airport for our international flight leaving to Dubai at 23:55.
Day 14 (10th Oct 24): Arrival at Malta Airport
We will arrive at Dubai airport at 04:00Hrs. Our connection flight, Dubai – Malta, will depart at 08:00Hrs arriving to the Malta International Airport 14:05.
