All cabins are equipped with Nespresso machine, flat screen TV and telephone, AC, hair dryer, private safe; free WiFi access, SPA bathrobes and slippers, high quality mattresses oozing comfort and style.
Evenings spent relaxing in the lounge area after a sumptuous meal, a great time to catch up with the group and reminisce on the days spent.
Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Arrival in Lisbon and Fatima
We will gather at the airport in the morning to begin our journey with a scheduled flight to Lisbon, departing at 09:25hrs. Upon arrival in Lisbon, we will be met by our private coach and transferred to our hotel situated in Fátima, where we will check in at our hotel. Once we settle in our rooms we will head to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, including time for personal reflection and exploration of this important pilgrimage site.
Later in the evening, we will have the opportunity to relax and unwind.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and head to Porto for our cruise. The embarkation/check in process will begin around 15:00hrs. Depending on the arrival time, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river before settling in for the evening. Once everyone is onboard, we will get together for our first dinner on board this exclusive ship, marking the exciting start to your journey on this VIVA cruise.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Porto to Folgosa
After breakfast on board, the cruise will depart Porto at 10:00 hrs, beginning a scenic journey along the Douro River. En route, enjoy breathtaking landscapes and vineyards as we make a brief stop at Leverinho, offering a glimpse into riverside life along the Douro.
We will continue sailing towards Folgosa, arriving at approximately 20:30hrs. Lunch and dinner will be served on board, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the comfort of the ship and the ever-changing scenery throughout the day.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Folgosa to Vega de Terrón
Enjoy breakfast on board as the cruise sails through Pocinho, where we will make a brief stop of approximately 30 minutes (please note that guests may not be able to disembark due to the short duration).
We will then continue cruising towards Vega de Terrón, arriving at around 16:00 hrs. Upon arrival, guests may enjoy a leisurely walk along the river port, take in the natural scenery at the Spanish–Portuguese border, or relax on board.
Itinerary Overview: Day 5 – Vega de Terrón to Pocinho
Enjoy breakfast on board while taking in the scenery of Vega de Terrón as it slowly fades into the distance. The morning is at leisure, allowing time to relax on board or explore the village and its picturesque riverside surroundings.
Later in the evening, the cruise will begin its return journey to Pocinho, as we enjoy dinner on board.
Itinerary Overview: Day 6 – Pinhão
Enjoy breakfast on board as the cruise continues its scenic journey towards Pinhão, arriving around 12:30hrs. Upon arrival, guests will have time to enjoy a leisurely stroll through this charming riverside town, known for its traditional azulejo-tiled train station, wine shops, and relaxed atmosphere. There will be free time to explore the waterfront, browse local boutiques, or simply enjoy a coffee overlooking the Douro River.
Itinerary Overview: Day 7 – Peso da Régua
The cruise will depart at 10:00 hrs, sailing through the scenic Douro Valley towards Peso da Régua, arriving around 12:30 hrs. Upon arrival, guests can take a leisurely stroll along the riverfront, visit the Douro Museum, explore local shops and cafés, or enjoy a tasting at a nearby quinta. Optional excursions, such as guided vineyard tours or short hikes, are also available, with lunch on board or locally.
Itinerary Overview: Day 8 – Return to Porto
The cruise will depart from Peso da Régua, sailing past the scenic village of Leverinho, which provides a beautiful backdrop as we continue along the Douro River. Arrival in Porto is scheduled for approximately 16:00 hrs. Upon arrival, guests may choose to take a leisurely stroll through the city or explore its charming streets, or simply relax on board and enjoy the views.
Itinerary Overview: Day 9 – Disembark
The cruise will come to an end on this day. We will enjoy our final breakfast onboard while taking in the last views of this beautiful city. After breakfast, the disembarkation process will begin, ensuring a smooth and relaxed departure. We will board the bus and head to Porto centre for a guided tour. Later in the afternoon we will head to airport hotel. Here we will spend the night and rest for the flight for the following day.
Itinerary Overview: Day 10 – Return back home
We will have an early wake-up call to prepare for our departure, as our flight back home is scheduled for 07:05 hrs from Porto Airport. Guests will be assisted with check-out and luggage transfer, and a shuttle bus will take us to the airport in plenty of time for check-in and boarding.
