For those interested, there is also a petting farm to visit. Whilst here we can enjoy some free time to soak in the incredible views, that stretch as far as the Aeolian Islands, including Stromboli and Vulcano. Each island boasts extinct craters and incredible natural beauty.
Our first stop will be Lipari, the largest of the islands and a true haven for tourists. We will disembark and take a pleasant walk together to the island’s castle. Lipari is home to several points of interest, including an archaeological park and museum, various churches, a Greek theatre, and, most the highlight is a panoramic view of Lipari surrounded by its crystal-clear waters. After exploring the castle, we will venture through the narrow streets down to the charming Old Town. You will be given free time to wander along the main street, enjoy a leisurely meal, some shopping, and browse the local shops that add to the island’s vibrant atmosphere.
In time we will return to the port to board our boat and continue our scenic cruise around Lipari. This boat trip is another great way to explore the island’s beauty with its views of White Beach, the towering Faraglioni rocks, Scoglio di Papa Giovanni, and the picturesque Grotta degli Angeli.
