DAY 1:
We meet our Tour Leader at the Malta international airport for an AirSerbia flight to Belgrade. Upon arrival we will be transferred to a central hotel in Belgrade After checking in we will be tasting the beautiful attractions of Belgrade. Our local guide will join us to start the Belgrade sightseeing tour. We start with a visit to Saint Sava Temple, the second largest Orthodox Church in Europe with stunning crypt and main dome filled with mosaics that will leave you completely breathless on the way to the main city you will pass by Slavija Square firstly. This is one of the biggest squares in Belgrade, where 7 streets are crossing. King Alexander Boulevard, the oldest active street in Belgrade, is next on your route. By taking this longest street in Belgrade you will pass by Tasmajdan Park with Saint Marco’s Church, National Assembly of Serbia,Old and New Palace. On the Republic Square, which is considered to be the main meeting point in the city itself, you will see the National Theater, the oldest and one of the most important buildings for theater life in Belgrade, Museum and the monument dedicated to Knez Mihailo, one of the greatest Serbian rulers. From here walking part of the tour through the main shopping and pedestrian street zone called Knez Mihailo Street will start. This crowded and lively street will lead you all the way to Kalemegdan fortress, the dominant Belgrade attraction to finally see the rivers and the main symbol of the “White City” called Victor Monument. From here we return to our hotel. Afterwards we prepare for a Serbian dinner. We will be transferred to Skardarlija – the bohemian part of Belgrade were we will be having a special dinner in an ethno restaurant on the river bank.
After breakfast. we start our drive towards Ovcar-Kablar Gorge which represents one of the most beautiful gorges within Serbia, located 70 km from Zlatibor. This pearl of nature, with exceptional beauty, unspoiled nature, abundance in flora and fauna and rich cultural heritage has been protected by the Republic of Serbia as a region of outstanding features. Upon arrival in Ovcar spa, we will start a 2h long boat trip along Zapadna Morava River. This activity will give you the opportunity to see the beauty of this spectacular gorge from the river, just before you observe it from viewpoint located on Kablar Mount. During the boat ride you will have one stop in order to visit monastery Nikolje, the oldest monastery in this area built in the XV century. It was established on the slopes of Mount Kablar, on the left bank of the river Zapadna Morava. Monastery Nikolje is the only monastery within the gorge whose architecture has remained preserved since the Middle Ages which makes it even more important. Return to the starting point. Here we find our coach waiting to drive us to Zlatibor Mountain, one of the main holiday resorts in this part of Europe. Check in our 4 star hotel and after a familiarization walk with the tour leader. Afterwards we go straight to the hotel’s restaurant for a sumptuous buffet dinner. Overnight.
Day 3:
Our 3rd day is reserved for visiting all Zlatibor’s top attractions. We will start our drive towards Stopica Cave which represents one of the biggest caves in Serbia and it’s one of the Western Serbia top attractions. Its main landmark is a 10m high underground waterfall. The image of Stopica Cave won the 1st prize worldwide in Wiki Loves Earth 2016. Competition. Old village named “Sirogojno” is next on our route. It is the oldest ethnological open-air museum within the Balkans. 55 households were moved here from original locations. You will have the opportunity to check out a permanent exhibition with two original family households, an economic part built separately with a shed for drying plums (for producing traditional drink), a stable, trades and craft shops, and an old classroom. All the buildings are equipped with authentic furniture. We continue our tour by visiting Gostilje Waterfall, a true oasis of intact nature and one the biggest waterfalls in Serbia with a height of 20m. This splendid attraction will end our tour today and we return to the hotel. Time to prepare for our dinner, free time at the lively resort center and overnight.

Day 4:
Breakfast….This day will completely be reserved for Uvac Nature Reserve, Serbia’s most spectacular natural site. Less than an hour’s drive from Zlatibor will take you to Zlatar Lake from where you will start your Uvac adventure. The most popular way of exploring this amazing natural site is a combination of cruising and hiking that lasts for 4-5 hours. First you will cruise along Uvac meanders for about 12km. Afterwards, the hiking part of the tour will start in order for you to reach the observation platform “Molitva” that offers a splendid panoramic view over Uvac meanders. Besides for taking pictures, this is the best place for you to observe one of the main symbols of the Uvac Nature Reserve, Griffon Vultures – relatively rare species of bird of prey whose population in Uvac is the second biggest in Europe. When our Uvac Canyon tour is done, we drive back to Zlatibor. Free time and Dinner.


Day 5:
After breakafast, today we will start a relaxing day by walking to the nearby Gondola station. A unique 9 km panoramic gondola, newly built and inaugurated on January 2021. The most modern air route of the gondola connects the centre of Zlatibor with its highest peak and the ski center Tomik, via Lake Riknicko, where the Middle station is located. Currently the gold gondola Zlatibor hat the capacity of 800 passengers per hour in 72 separate gondolas with 10 seats he maximum capacity is 90 gondolas with 1000 passengers per hour. Our panoramic journey will be lasting around 30 minutes and will cover an altitude difference of around 530 mtrs. The Zlatibor “Gold Gondola” lift is the longest such panoramic gondola in the world. Experiencing this adventure is a must when you are in Zlatibor. This attraction makes this touristic resort an even more attractive destination not only for skiers and mountaineers, but also for tourist who simply want to enjoy the fantastic journey to the highest peak of Zlatibor accessible by cableway. On returning to the center, we will have free time to explore the beautiful shops and magnificent atmosphere of the lake and surroundings. We will meet again for dinner at the hotel and afterwards time for leisure.
Day 6:
Breakfast…..This day is reserved for visiting Tara Mountain, one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia located in the western part of the country. It represents, one among five Serbian National Parks, that local people call “lungs of Serbia” due to the fact that more than 70% of the area of National Park is under the forest. Our first stop today will be in Bajina Basta, a small town located on the foothills of Tara Mountain with its unique attraction “House on the rock in the middle of the Drina river”. The image of this unique attraction was posted on a cover of National Geographic magazine. A short, pleasant drive will take us to our next stop – The shortest river in Europe called “Vrelo” is next on our route. Due to the fact that it’s only 365m long, river ‘Vrelo’ has received its second name “Godina” or “Year” (long as a year). The tour proceeds to the heart of Tara National Park. Short, pleasant drive will take us to the point from which we will start our walking/hiking part of the tour (2km in both directions) in order to reach without doubt, the most beautiful viewpoint in Serbia “Banjska Rock.” This place offers a splendid panoramic view over the Drina River Canyon. Be prepared to take some breathtaking photos from up here. Drive back to Zlatibor Mountain. Drop off to our hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 7:
Breakfast. Short drive to Drvengrad or “Wooden Town,” ethno village developed by well-known movie director, Emir Kusturica, as a set for his movie entitled “Life is miracle.” All the buildings and furniture here, the hotel, shops, church, cinema, etc. are made of natural materials, mostly from wood. The church was built in tradition of Russian log cabin churches and is dedicated to St. Sava, the founder of Serbian autocephalous Christian Orthodox Church. The village square here is paved with wooden blocks and surrounded by authentic log cabins brought in from their original locations. In Drvengrad we find an art gallery, a library, cinema, cake shop with homemade sweets, and popular restaurant serving traditional Serbian cuisine. One of the best tourism villages in 2021 was the Serbian village of Mokra Gora, Drvengrad. We leave this pretty unusual village and drive to Bosnia, Visegrad. We cross the country borders to enter into the Bosnia Herzegova country. The Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge of Višegrad is our next stop on our route. This was built at the end of the 16th century by the court in the center of Zlatibor, architect Mimar Koca Sinan on the orders of Grand Vizier Mehmed Paša Sokolović. A symbol of an Ottoman monumental architecture and civil engineering. This famous bridge has 11 masonry arches with spans of 11 to 15 mtrs, and an access ramp at right angles with four arches on the left bank of the river. The 179.5 m long bridge is a representative masterpiece of Sinan, one of the greatest architects and engineers of the classical Ottoman period and a contemporary of the Italian Renaissance, with which his work may be compared. We leave this impressive building behind us and drive back to Zlatibor. Drop off at your hotel, some relaxing time, dinner and a short distance walk to enjoy the lively atmosphere near the luminous and water display lake.

DAY 8:
After breakfast at our hotel, last free time at leisure to enjoy the beauty of the Zlatibor mountain and surroundings. In the afternoon we check out our hotel and say goodbye to this charming country. We will be transferred to Nikola Tesla airport to check in for our flight departing at 20 hours.
