WEDNESDAY, 11th DECEMBER | We will meet at the airport in the early afternoon for our flight to Brussels that departs at 16.30. Upon arrival we will have a transfer from the airport to our hotel which is located near the airport. After check in you can relax and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
THURSDAY, 12th DECEMBER | Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. A private coach will be ready to drive us to Dusseldorf port where we will board the VIVA One boat and check in. We will be assigned our cabin and thereafter you will have free time for the rest of the day to either enjoy the amenities onboard the boat or take a walk into the wonderful city of Dusseldorf. We will set sail late in the evening to our first stop, Coblenz.
FRIDAY, 13th DECEMBER | Breakfast on board. In the afternoon, will arrive at Coblenz where will have some time to stroll through the charming streets and squares of this picturesque city while sharing exciting stories and anecdotes about Coblenz’s past and present. During this walking tour, you will discover the historical treasures Coblenz has to offer, including impressive monuments, well preserved buildings, and hidden gems. Departure from Coblenz to Bonn will be late in the evening.
SATURDAY, 14th DECEMBER | Breakfast on board and will enjoy some time in Bonn. Bonn is a vibrant city located on the banks of the Rhine River in western Germany. It is renowned for being the birthplace of the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven, whose legacy is celebrated throughout the city with museums and annual music festivals. Additionally, Bonn is home to a large university, contributing to its lively cultural and academic atmosphere. The surrounding natural beauty, including the nearby Siebengebirge hills, adds to Bonn’s charm as a picturesque and historically rich destination.
In the afternoon, will set sail to Cologne. Upon arrival, you will get to enjoy Cologne with a ride by rickshaw, experience the cathedral city up close, the love locks on the Hohenzollern Bridge and one of the most outstanding art treasures of Roman antiquity in addition to the historic old town. Passing the old stack houses, roll through Butter and Fischmarkt and experience the 2000-yearold history of Cologne. Departure from
Cologne will be late in the evening.
SUNDAY, 15th DECEMBER | Breakfast and disembark the cruise. A coach will be waiting for us, to transfer us from Dusseldorf port to the city of Brussels. We will spend some time exploring the famous Christmas market of Place Sainte-Catherine, also known as Winter Wonders, which is by far the biggest Christmas market in Brussels. Late afternoon our private coach will take us to Brussels Airport where we will check in for our flight back to Malta that departs at 20.25 and arrives in Malta at 23.20.
