Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Departure and Arrival in Partinico
Your journey begins with an early-morning RyanAir flight, departing at 06:05hrs. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our comfortable coach, which will accompany you throughout your travels.
From the airport, we will embark on a scenic drive towards our destination: the beautiful Agriturismo resort in Partinico. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Sicilia Outlet Village, an ideal place for shopping enthusiasts. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Agriturismo Arabesque, nestled in the tranquil Sicilian countryside. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and familiarize yourself with the resort.
The rest of the afternoon is free for you to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Later in the evening, we will gather for our first dinner at the resort, where you will be treated to a delightful meal made from ingredients grown on the family-owned farm that runs Agriturismo Arabesque.
It’s the perfect way to start your four-day stay in this charming location.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Palermo – Castellammare del Golfo
After breakfast, we will board the coach and drive towards the historic center of Palermo, the vibrant capital of Sicily. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided city tour, showcasing some of Palermo’s most famous and captivating landmarks.
After exploring these treasures of Palermo, we will return to the coach for the next leg of our journey. We will then head towards Castellammare del Golfo, a picturesque seaside resort on the northwestern coast of Sicily. Known for its striking views, sparkling blue skies, and charming atmosphere, Castellammare del Golfo is considered one of the most beautiful resorts on the island. Once there, we will take a leisurely walk through the town with our tour leader, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings.
You will also have some free time to explore on your own, whether it’s strolling through the town or enjoying the scenic views. In the evening, we will return to our resort to enjoy a delicious dinner, showcasing the local flavors and specialties of the region. It’s a perfect way to end a day of sightseeing and relaxation in one of Sicily’s most enchanting locations.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Erice
After a satisfying breakfast, we set off for a memorable excursion to the picturesque town of Erice. Perched high on a rocky hilltop, this medieval city is a true gem. Erice offers some of the most stunning panoramic views in Sicily, with sweeping vistas of the Trapani Valley, the coastal town of San Vito lo Capo, and the Egadi Islands. These breathtaking views, combined with the town’s historic charm, will surely leave a lasting impression.
One of Erice’s standout landmarks is the Castello di Venere (Castle of Venus), which is dramatically positioned at the edge of a cliff. As you approach the castle, the vistas become even more spectacular, providing a perfect photo opportunity. After exploring the castle, we will continue our visit to the nearby Garden of Erice, a peaceful and scenic spot that offers a relaxing escape amid lush greenery.
Next, we will wander through the narrow, winding streets of the town’s historic center. As you stroll through Erice, you’ll experience a tranquil atmosphere, with charming shops selling authentic local products, from artisan crafts to culinary specialties unique to the region.
Later, we will return to the resort for a well-deserved dinner and time to relax after a day full of discovery.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4- Cattedrale di Monreale
After a delicious breakfast, we set off for the stunning Cattedrale di Monreale, a masterpiece of Norman architecture. Take your time to explore the cathedral’s intricate mosaics and rich history. Built in the 12th century, this awe-inspiring cathedral is renowned for its dazzling mosaics, which cover over 6,000 square meters of its interior. These mosaics, crafted with meticulous precision, depict biblical scenes in vibrant gold, offering a breathtaking visual narrative of the Christian faith.
Following the visit, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the nearby shops, where you’ll have time to pick up some local souvenirs and keepsakes.
In the afternoon, we return to the peaceful atmosphere of the agriturismo, where you can relax and unwind, taking full advantage of the resort’s amenities—perhaps a walk in the gardens, or just some quiet time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
Itinerary Overview: Day 5 – Cefalu – Shopping – Departure
After a delightful breakfast together, we begin preparing for the next leg of our journey, making our way towards the charming town of Cefalù.
Upon arrival, we will take a leisurely walk through the heart of this picturesque seaside resort. Our first stop will be Piazza Duomo, the main square, where you can marvel at the impressive Cefalù Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Norman architecture. You will then have some free time to explore the medieval streets of the historic center, where quaint shops, cafés, and restaurants line the narrow alleys. Don’t forget to take a stroll along the popular Cefalù beach, famous for its clear waters and beautiful views.
After enjoying some free time in Cefalù, we will regroup and head back to the coach. Our next stop will be the Centro Sicilia Shopping Center, a modern retail hub where you can indulge in some last-minute shopping. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up some souvenirs or gifts before we head to the airport.
Once shopping is complete, we will board the coach for the final stretch of our tour. We will make our way to Catania Airport, where we will arrive in time for check-in for our RyanAir flight scheduled to depart at 22:40hrs.
