Overview
Welcome to VIVA Cruises ONE All Inclusive. “All Inclusive” means that you can sit back, relax and enjoy. Your physical well-being is taken care of with selected food and high-quality drinks. The attentive crew will spoil you with culinary delicacies, exquisite drinks. The cruise also offers relaxing care products from RITUALS. And if you do need a good connection, you can use our WiFi. The included tips ensure good connections elsewhere – especially to our on-board staff.
All cabins are equipped with Nespresso machine, flat screen TV and telephone, AC, hair dryer, private safe; free WiFi access, SPA bathrobes and slippers, high quality mattresses oozing comfort and style.
Evenings spent relaxing in the lounge area after a sumptuous meal, a great time to catch up with the group and reminisce on the days spent.
Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Arrival in Brussels
We will gather at the airport in the early afternoon to begin our journey with a scheduled flight to Brussels, scheduled to depart at 16:30hrs. Upon arrival in Brussels, a private transfer will take us to our hotel, conveniently located near the airport. After checking in and settling into our rooms, we will reconvene for a group dinner at the hotel restaurant. Later in the evening, we will have the opportunity to relax, unwind, or enjoy some light social time together, depending on everyone’s preferences.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Dusseldorf
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with check-out. A private coach will then be waiting to transfer us to the port in Düsseldorf, where we will embark on the VIVA ONE river cruise. Upon arrival at the port, we will check in and be assigned our cabins. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure—whether you choose to relax and explore the ship’s amenities or take a stroll through the vibrant city of Düsseldorf. Later in the afternoon, we will set sail towards our first destination: the historic city of Arnhem. Lunch and dinner will be served on board.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Bonn
While enjoying breakfast on board, we soak in the beautiful sight of Bonn, a picturesque city set along the Rhine and steeped in history. From the cruise dock, it’s an easy 10–15 minute walk along the riverside promenade to the heart of the city at Marktplatz. From here, you can wander through the charming lanes of the Altstadt Bonn, take in the impressive Bonn Minster, or visit the Beethoven House, the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven. You are free to explore independently or join an optional guided walk. Meals will be served on board, with the ship remaining docked in Bonn.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Mainz
As we enjoy breakfast on board, the ship docks in Mainz—a city full of history and charm. Many highlights are within walking distance, including the impressive Mainz Cathedral, the Gutenberg Museum, and the vibrant Liebfrauenplatz. Don’t miss St. Stephen’s Church with its Chagall windows, or the medieval charm of Kirschgarten square. A stroll along the Rhine promenade offers scenic views and historic landmarks like the Wood and Iron Towers. You can explore at your own pace or join a guided walking tour. Lunch and dinner will be served on board, with the ship staying overnight in Mainz.
Itinerary Overview: Day 5 –Coblenz
The VIVA One departs Mainz at 07:00hrs, giving you a relaxed morning to sleep in, enjoy breakfast, or take in the views as we cruise toward Koblenz. After lunch and docking, you can explore the city starting at Deutsches Eck, where the Rhine and Moselle meet. Stroll along the Rheinanlagen promenade to the Basilica of St. Castor, then wander through Koblenz’s charming Old Town, with its quaint squares and cafés. For stunning views, you can take the cable car to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The ship departs at 19:00hrs as we begin our return to Düsseldorf, enjoying our final evening on board.
Itinerary Overview: Day 6 – Dusseldorf and departure
After breakfast, we will disembark the cruise in Düsseldorf, where a private coach will be waiting to transfer us to Brussels. Upon arrival, we will have time to explore the city’s enchanting Christmas market at Place Sainte-Catherine, known as Winter Wonders—the largest and most festive market in Brussels, offering a magical atmosphere filled with seasonal treats, crafts, and entertainment.
In the late afternoon, our coach will take us to Brussels Airport, where we will check in for our return flight to Malta, scheduled to depart at 20:25hrs.
