Itinerary Overview: Day 1: Malta – Zagreb – Zadar

We meet our Tour Leader at Malta International Airport at 07:00hrs for check-in for our flight to Zagreb, scheduled to depart at 09:10hrs. Upon arrival in Zagreb, we board our coach and enjoy a scenic drive towards Zadar.

On arrival in Zadar, we check into our hotel and have some time to rest. Later, we head to the city centre for an evening guided tour of Zadar, accompanied by a local guide who will share engaging stories about this beautiful historic city.

Our sightseeing will include the famous Sea Organ, where the movement of the sea creates unique musical sounds, the Salutation to the Sun, Kalelarga, the Church of St. Donatus, Zadar Market, and the Five Wells. After the tour, free time is at your leisure.

Later in the evening, we return to the hotel.

Itinerary Overview: Day 2: Nin Saltworks & Plitvice Lakes

After a good breakfast, we set off for the charming town of Nin, located just a few minutes from Zadar.Here, we will visit the Nin Saltworks and enjoy a guided tour led by a professional guide, who will share the fascinating story behind traditional salt production.

Following this visit, we continue our journey towards Plitvice Lakes National Park, widely regarded as the most beautiful national park in Croatia. The park is renowned for its spectacular network of 16interconnected crystal-clear lakes, arranged in cascading terraces and enhanced by breathtaking waterfalls. The lakes display vivid shades of turquoise and azure, with colours changing according to mineral content and sunlight.

During our visit, we will admire the iconic Veliki Slap, Croatia’s highest waterfall, plunging dramatically from a height of 78 metres. We will explore the park along a system of wooden boardwalks that wind through pristine landscapes, offering panoramic views of the lakes and waterfalls. The park is also home to a rich variety of plant and animal species thriving within its untouched ecosystems.

To further enhance the experience, we will enjoy a peaceful electric boat ride across Lake Kozjak, the largest lake in the park, surrounded by stunning scenery. After this unforgettable day, we return to the hotel for overnight accommodation.

Itinerary Overview: Day 3: Split

After breakfast, we set off for another vibrant destination—Split. Croatia’s second-largest city, Split is renowned for its rich history, impressive architecture, beautiful coastline, and lively atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we explore the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, dating back to the 4th century AD. We will admire its remarkably well-preserved structures, including Peristyle Square, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, and the Temple of Jupiter. We then enjoy a leisurely walk along the Riva Promenade, the city’s bustling waterfront lined with palm trees, cafés, restaurants, and shops, offering panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the nearby islands.

Following the guided tour, free time is at your leisure to enjoy personal activities. Later, we visit the Mall of Split, a large shopping centre where you will have additional free time.

In the evening, we arrive at the hotel for overnight accommodation.

Itinerary Overview: Day 4: Šibenik & Krka National Park

After breakfast, we set off towards the charming town of Šibenik, renowned for its rich history, remarkable architecture, and close proximity to the stunning Krka National Park. We explore Šibenik’s atmospheric Old Town, with its narrow cobblestone streets, historic alleyways, and beautifully preserved Renaissance and Gothic buildings.

Our visit includes the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, a true masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. We will admire its intricate stone carvings, impressive dome, and exquisite decorative details.

A short drive from Šibenik takes us to Krka National Park, where we enjoy another captivating experience amidst nature. The park is famous for its spectacular waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and lush landscapes. We will marvel at the magnificent Skradinski Buk waterfalls and explore the network of walking trails throughout the park. Following our walk, we board a boat for a scenic panoramic cruise through the park.

After another awe-inspiring and rewarding day, we return to our hotel in Zadar for overnight accommodation.

Itinerary Overview: Day 5: Zadar – Zagreb – Malta

After an early breakfast, we bid farewell to this wonderful region, load our luggage, and begin our drive to Zagreb. Upon arrival, we enjoy a city tour with a local guide, including a leisurely walk through Ban Josip Jelačić Square and Tomislav Square, as well as a visit to the Upper Town, the Cathedral, and the local market. After the tour, there will be some free time before our transfer to the airport. Flight is scheduled to depart at 20:25hrs.
