15th -19th December, 2025

Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Departure and Discovering Munich’s Festive Charm
We will meet our tour leader at the airport to complete check-in formalities for our flight, scheduled to depart at 9:25 AM to Munich. Upon arrival, we will immediately set off to explore the vibrant city of Munich, beginning with a visit to the iconic Olympic Village.
After our visit, we will head to our hotel for check-in and a short rest. Refreshed, we will join our tour leader for a leisurely walk to Munich’s historic city center, which will be beautifully adorned for the Christmas season. Here, our tour leader will guide us through the main sights, offering an introduction to the Bavarian capital’s rich heritage.
We will experience our first taste of a traditional German Christmas market in the lively Marienplatz. Dominating the square is the magnificent Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), famed for its enchanting Glockenspiel. We will also visit the Frauenkirche, Munich’s iconic cathedral, and stroll through the grand Residenzplatz. Ample time will be given to soak in the festive atmosphere and explore one of Germany’s most charming Christmas markets.
After enjoying the magic of the season, we will return to our hotel, conveniently located near the city center, for a relaxing night’s rest.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – A Fairytale Come to Life –and Füssen
After breakfast, we set out to visit one of the most enchanting treasures of King Ludwig II’s legacy — the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau, often referred to as the ‘fairy tale castle.’ To reach the castle, guests may choose to walk, take a shuttle bus, or ride a charming horse-drawn carriage (please note that transport and entrance fees are at an additional cost).
For those who prefer a more leisurely afternoon, the serene lake at the foot of the castle offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Following our visit to this magical place, we will rejoin our coach and continue to the idyllic village of Füssen. Here, we will enjoy a gentle stroll through its picturesque streets, with time to pause and perhaps savor a glass of warming Glühwein in one of the cozy cafés.
After a delightful afternoon, we will return to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – A Festive Journey to Nuremberg’s Legendary Christmas Markets
After breakfast, we set off for another highlight of our journey — the historic city of Nuremberg, famed for hosting one of the most iconic Christmas markets in the world. Our comfortable coach will take us straight to the heart of the city, where we will begin our exploration at Hallplatz.
Then, we will make our way to the lively Ludwigplatz. Here, you will have ample free time to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere, browsing the colorful stalls filled with handmade ornaments, seasonal treats, and traditional delicacies like Nuremberg’s famous gingerbread and Spekulatius almond cookies.
Later in the afternoon, we return to our hotel in Munich. You will have the evening free to further enjoy the magical Christmas spirit of the city at your own pace.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Alpine Beauty – Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald, and Lake Eibsee
After breakfast, we board our coach and set out to discover one of Germany’s most beloved alpine towns — Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This charming resort town, nestled in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, is surrounded by breathtaking mountains and forests, under the watchful presence of Germany’s highest peak, the Zugspitze. We will enjoy a pleasant stroll through the Old Town and its picturesque gardens, soaking in the serene alpine atmosphere.
Our journey continues to another enchanting Bavarian village — Mittenwald. Famed for its vividly painted facades adorned with intricate frescoes, Mittenwald is a true open-air gallery. This village is also historically significant as the birthplace of violin making in Germany. For those interested, the Violin Making Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into this rich craft tradition.
After some free time to relax and explore Mittenwald at your own pace, we will rejoin the coach for our next stop: the stunning Lake Eibsee. Nestled at the foot of the Zugspitze, Lake Eibsee is a crystal-clear alpine gem. If the lake is not frozen — as it often remains during the winter months — you may witness the breathtaking reflection of the snow-capped Zugspitze mirrored in its waters.
Following our visit to this natural wonder, we will return to Munich for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Itinerary Overview: Day 5 – Farewell to Munich – A Royal Visit and Departure
After breakfast, we will enjoy a final morning of free time to soak up the festive atmosphere and charm of Munich at our own pace. Whether you choose to stroll through the bustling streets, do some last-minute shopping, or simply relax with a coffee, it’s the perfect opportunity to savor the final moments in this beautiful city.
By early afternoon, we will return to the hotel to collect our luggage and prepare for departure. Before heading to the airport, we will make one last memorable stop at Schloss Nymphenburg, the magnificent Baroque palace once home to Bavarian royalty. With its grand architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens, and elegant fountains, it promises a fitting and enchanting conclusion to our journey.
After our visit, we will proceed to the airport to check in for our flight back to Malta, scheduled to depart at 7:00 PM.
