Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Arrival

We will convene with our Tour Leader at Malta International Airport at 10.30hrs for check-in on our flight, departing for Milan Linate at 12:25hrs. Upon arrival, we will arrive at Milan Linate Airport in the afternoon and begin our journey to Aosta, the region’s captivating capital, where we will settle into our accommodation for the night and enjoy a delicious dinner before resting for the evening.

Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Skyway Monte Bianco and Courmayeur

We will begin our day with a ride on the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks, weather permitting. The cabins rotate gently, allowing for 360° vistas of glaciers, alpine valleys, and majestic mountains—an unforgettable experience for photography and sightseeing.

After descending, we will explore the charming Alpine town of Courmayeur, renowned for its chic atmosphere and picturesque setting. Guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll through its pedestrian streets, discover boutique shops, or visit the Alpine Museum to learn about the region’s fascinating history and culture. For those seeking relaxation, there is also the opportunity to unwind at a local spa, rejuvenating amidst the stunning mountain scenery before we conclude our visit.

Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Explore Aosta – The “Rome of the Alps” and Nearby Castles

Today, we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Aosta, including the iconic Arch of Augustus, Porta Praetoria, the Roman Theatre, and the Cryptoporticus. We will then take a leisurely stroll through the historic center, visiting the Aosta Cathedral and the Collegiata di Sant’Orso. In the afternoon, we will head to Sarre Castle, famous for its hunting trophies and picturesque location.

In the afternoon, we will continue our experience with a visit to the Cave des Onze Communes, where we can discover the rich winemaking traditions of the Aosta Valley. During the visit, we’ll learn about local grape varieties, explore the cellars, and enjoy a tasting of their authentic, regionally crafted wines.

Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Cervinia and Saint-Vincent

In the morning, we will head towards Cervinia, a charming Alpine resort nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn. Here, we’ll enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and make a stop at the picturesque Lago Blu, famous for its crystal-clear waters reflecting the majestic peak of the Matterhorn. It’s a perfect spot for photos and to simply take in the beauty of the Italian Alps before returning to our accommodation.

On our return, we will stop in Saint-Vincent, a delightful spa town known for its thermal baths, elegant streets, and beautiful mountain views. You’ll have some free time to explore the charming Viale della Libertà, lined with cafés, boutiques, and patisseries, or to relax at Piazza Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto with a coffee or gelato while soaking in the mountain atmosphere before heading back to our accommodation.

Itinerary Overview: Day 5 – Gressoney and Castel Savoia

After breakfast, we will journey to the peaceful valley of Gressoney-Saint-Jean, known for its unique Walser cultural heritage. Our morning will include a visit to Castel Savoia, a fairy-tale castle nestled amidst lush forests and stunning Alpine peaks. In the afternoon, we will explore the charming village of Gressoney and its picturesque surroundings or enjoy a leisurely walk through the scenic Valle del Lys.

Itinerary Overview: Day 6 – Departure

On the final day of our journey, enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Aosta before checking out and departing towards Milan.

Upon arrival, embark on a guided city tour of Milan, Italy’s vibrant fashion and cultural capital. Discover the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Duomo di Milano, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the impressive La Scala Opera House. Stroll through Piazza del Duomo and enjoy the lively atmosphere that defines this dynamic city.

After the tour, you’ll have some free time to explore, relax at one of the stylish cafés, or do some last-minute shopping in Milan’s world-famous boutiques.
We will proceed to Milan Linate Airport for our flight scheduled to depart at 15:15hrs.
