Itinerary Overview: Day 1 – Arrival in Trento
Meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport at 10:30hrs for check-in and departure on the KM Malta Air flight to Milan Linate, scheduled to depart at 12:25hrs. Upon arrival, we will be transferred by private coach to Trento and check in at Hotel Everest.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy an introductory walking tour through the historic centre of
Trento, discovering the beautiful Piazza Duomo, the Fountain of Neptune, and the city’s
charming medieval streets. There will be free time to soak up the festive atmosphere before dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Itinerary Overview: Day 2 – Innsbruck
After breakfast, we depart for Austria and the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck. Upon arrival, we
will enjoy a walking tour through the picturesque Old Town, including the famous Golden Roof, Maria-Theresien-Strasse, the Imperial Palace area, and the magnificent St. Wilten Basilica, one of Austria’s finest Rococo churches.
There will be free time to browse the charming Christmas markets, enjoy some shopping, or relax in one of the city’s traditional cafés.
Before departing, we will stop at a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding Alpine landscape.
In the late afternoon, we return to Trento for dinner and overnight.
Itinerary Overview: Day 3 – Ortisei, Val Gardena and Bolzano
Following breakfast, we depart for the spectacular Val Gardena region, one of the most scenic areas of the Dolomites.
Our first stop is Ortisei, a charming alpine village famous for its traditional mountain
architecture, welcoming atmosphere, and stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy free time to stroll through the village, browse the local shops, and admire the beautiful surroundings.
We then continue through Val Gardena, with stops at selected panoramic viewpoints, including Belvedere Val Gardena and other scenic locations, weather and road conditions permitting. There will be ample opportunity to admire the spectacular landscapes and capture memorable photographs of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.
In the afternoon, we continue to Bolzano, where we will enjoy a walking tour through the
historic centre, including Walther Square, Via dei Portici, and the Cathedral area. Free time will be available to explore the city and enjoy its festive atmosphere before returning to Trento.
In the evening, guests may choose to join an optional New Year’s Eve Dinner at the renowned Due Mori Restaurant, where celebrations will continue into the New Year.
Itinerary Overview: Day 4 – Free Day in Trento or Optional Gardaland Excursion
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a day at leisure in Trento.
Take the opportunity to further explore the city’s historic centre, visit its shops and cafés, or
simply relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere at your own pace.
For those looking for a more exciting experience, an optional full-day excursion to Gardaland, Italy’s most famous theme park, will be available. Enjoy a fun-filled day with a variety of attractions, shows, and entertainment suitable for all ages before returning to Trento in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel Everest.
Overview: Day 5 – Lake Garda, Limone and Malcesine
After breakfast, we depart for beautiful Lake Garda. Our first stop is Riva del Garda, where we will enjoy a pleasant walk along the lakeside promenade and free time to explore the historic centre. We then continue to nearby Torbole sul Garda for a panoramic stop offering magnificent views across the lake and surrounding mountains.
A boat ride takes us to the picturesque village of Limone sul Garda, famous for its lemon groves, colourful waterfront, and charming atmosphere. We then continue to the delighul medieval village of Malcesine.
Enjoy free time to wander through its quaint streets, admire the impressive Scaligero Castle
from the outside, and relax by the lakeside before returning to Trento for dinner and overnight.
Itinerary Overview: Day 6 – Verona and Sirmione
After breakfast, we depart for Verona, one of Italy’s most romantic and historically rich cities. A walking tour will introduce us to some of Verona’s most famous landmarks, including Piazza Brà, the Verona Arena, Juliet’s Balcony, and Piazza delle Erbe. There will be free time for shopping, sightseeing, and lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, we continue to the beautiful lakeside town of Sirmione, situated on a narrow peninsula extending into Lake Garda.
Return to Trento in the evening for dinner and overnight at Hotel Everest.
Itinerary Overview: Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Milan Linate Airport.
Depending on traffic and flight schedules, there may be some free time before check-in for the KM Malta Air flight scheduled to depart at 15:15hrs.
