

TUESDAY, 1st OCTOBER | We meet at the airport in the morning for our flight to Zurich that departs at 14:20 and arrives at 16:45. On arrival we will be transferred to Basel to board our river cruise – Viva One. Upon embarkation we will be assigned our cabin and free time.
WEDNESDAY, 2nd OCTOBER | Breakfast on board and will depart Basel to start our trip to Breisach. On arrival in Breisach, will travel through the tranquil landscape of the Upper Rhine to Colmar on the French side of the Rhine. Once in Colmar, will take a varied tour of the city, which with its alleys, traditional half-timbered houses and canals combines everything that makes the picturesque Alsace. Late in the afternoon, will sail to the next port.

THURSDAY, 3rd OCTOBER | Arrival at Strasbourg. Wake up, enjoy breakfast on board and discover Strasbourg. You will get to explore the famous Petite France district, the Barrage Vauban covered dam bridge, which was built back in the 17th century among other things. The highlight will be the world-famous Strasbourg Cathedral. While strolling through the cobblestone streets, enjoying views of the idyllic canals and discovering details on the well-preserved half-timbered houses, one can notice countless cafes, restaurants and souvenir stores and the last stop will be Place de Etoile. After this visit, will start the return journey to the dock of our ship which will then sail to Mannheim, arriving late evening.

FRIDAY, 4th October | Breakfast on board and will enjoy some time in Mannheim, located on the Rhine, directly opposite Ludwigshafen in Baden-Württemberg. The Baroque castle is the landmark of the city, together with the Romanesque water tower and the attractive squares in which the city centre is laid out. In the afternoon, will sail to Rüdesheim, arriving in the evening.

SATURDAY, 5th October | Breakfast on board. Today we will enjoy some time in the picturesque town of Rüdesheim. This town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its medieval architecture, vineyards and wine taverns. Late in the afternoon, will arrive at Koblenz where will have some time to stroll through the charming streets and squares of this picturesque city while sharing exciting stories and anecdotes about Koblenz’s past and present. During this walking tour, you will discover the historical treasures Koblenz has to offer, including impressive monuments, well-preserved buildings and hidden gems. Overnight in Koblenz.

SUNDAY, 6th October | Breakfast and will depart Koblenz to sail to Cologne. You will get to enjoy Cologne with a ride by rickshaw, experience the cathedral city up close, the love locks on the Hohenzollern Bridge and one of the most outstanding art treasures of Roman antiquity in addition to the historic old town. Passing the old stack houses, roll through Butter- and Fischmarkt and experience the 2000 year old history of Cologne. Look for the Kallendresser at Alter Markt and pick up your portion of luck at the Tünnes & Schäl. Departure from Cologne will be late in the evening.

MONDAY, 7th October | Breakfast on board and will start our trip in Düsseldorf. This city inspires with diversity. It is world-renowned as a centre of fashion, architecture and art and blends an edgy exciting feel with typical old world German charm. The old town makes this city with more than 260 cosy pubs to the “longest bar in the world”. The Burgplatz with the castle tower offers a charming picture and only a few steps away is the Rhine promenade, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Düsseldorf skyline and the Oberkasseler Ufer. Overnight in Düsseldorf.

TUESDAY, 8th October | Breakfast and disembark the cruise. Free time in Dusseldorf and then we are transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay.
WEDNESDAY, 9th October | Early breakfast and we are transferred to the airport for our flight back that departs at 09:45 and arrives at 12:30.
